“Forgotten People of Collier Township, 1880-1940”

As we were researching and writing "Forgotten people of Collier Township," we reviewed immigration and family data, census data, newspaper articles, birth, marriage, and death certificates to get an overall picture of each family.  To overcome census data inaccuracies, and multiple spellings of names, we constructed simple family trees to sort through families and locations.

The thought struck us one day that we were capturing and consolidating information that most people don't know how to find or have the tools needed to research.  A conversation led us to refine our notes into moderate family lists with rudimentary genealogy data so curious readers would have sufficient information to begin creating their own family trees.

Be warned: this is not a book for pleasure reading!  It's just a book of data!  This book is for the person who wants to discover more about the families and relationships identified in our book.
